Immortal convoy

game #2890637. TIME SENSITIVE

An immortal convoy in Budapest taking out 20 attacking units.

Its hit points are negative and going lower. How hard is it to check if a number is <0 ?

Most of the problems with the game are tolerable but this one really gets my goat because it wrecks the game, has a SIMPLE fix and STILL occurs.

So much effort to make a new game but we still live with the old bugs. How about untangling the spaghetti code?

Budapest convoy is at -19449%. -3889.8 hit points. Operator intervention required. HELLO?

Have you filed a bug report on these in your game? I see other issues going on similar and want to say they might be aware of the negative health bug. I will investigate further and forward it to the devs, but the more tickets on this the better.

I've reported it....

I see that thanks.

As I understand it this is only happening in 1.5 at this time?

I am compiling a report for the devs, so they will have it when they arrive back at work on Monday.

@OneNutSquirrel

Yes, bug report was filed.

There is a second (related?) problem. When enemies defeat ground units at an airbase, the province is captured and air units based there turn into convoys BUT the enemies do not automatically engage the convoys. Unless an attack order is manually made, nothing further will happen. AFAIK his happens in both CoW and 1.5

Not Always...

I just had an AC claim a City with a TB in it... the AC was routed to go through the city and continue on to next target.. It got stopped by the TB and now in combat.

My units were ordered to attack the ground units. Battle finished, province captured, then my units and enemy TB convoy sat waiting in the same location. Required issuing a manual attack order.

Update: Budapest TB convoy has -8583.3 hit points, -42917%

If you haven't already done so please file a bug report so we can send it to the devs.

@PrinceofHonor

I don't really care about the second problem. I do wonder why nothing has been done about the OP.

I know it takes time to fix a bug, but why has there been no action on the game situation? Can't a game operator intervene to delete the immortal unit?

Update: Budapest convoy at -11331 hit points, -56654%

My Zombie TB in Paris is at -10,695% and -2,138.9 Hit Points... and going down..

That kind of damage would have done wonders to my enemy... Not to mention it was a crap place to block a province... everything would have gone through there so now all my units have to go around and waste time...

Ok, the devs have been made aware and a fix is coming in the next update. In the meantime, we will have to manually remove those units from the map.

Any idea when? It's been more than 2 days now. This isn't just some annoying bug for the devs. It seriously affects game play.

As I understand it, The Game Operator can delete the unit, so why is such a simple remedy to a time sensitive problem taking so long?

What about restoring units that were lost...

I lost 3 infantry, 2 fighters and an AC to this Zombie TB

General Maximus Decimus Meridius - "Are you not entertained?"

Finally received a message from Support saying air and naval units were reset/updated.

Don't know what that means but nothing changed in the game.

Immortal Budapest convoy still lives, now -18584.9 hit points, -92924%

Mine were just reset and updated.. but Zombie Unit still in play with -13,459% Health....

Updated the Bug report mail I got...

Ok, Game Operators can't remove units, it has to be the MA and above as we have such a high volume of tickets and a low amount of people to remove units this is going to take a bit to resolve.
