Inactivity bug?

No idea what is happening, but it seems start when full games are bugged nations being stated as active when they are not? Or is that just a trait of start when full?

Some people get into games and then never plays them, that's why the countries are active for like first 3 days and then they go inactive, if that is what you wonder

No, they are beyond the time when they should go inactive. It's day 6 on the game, and all the players are still active, despite a lack of activity by most of the participants in the match.

hmm, can you give me the Game ID and your in game name?

Well, it appears to have fixed itself... That was a really long time, though. Last I checked, 7 days is a long time for someone to not go inactive when they have shown no activity of any sort, not even unit movement or the like.

@WiseOdin, @Mathex319: Please correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought that merely logging into the game was sufficient "activity" that a player would not be placed on the inactive list by the software or be removed from the game by the game host.

No, an order needs to be placed. A troop movement, research started, construction or production.

Also, the order must be live. Setting long wait orders, or using add target march command to make troops march in circles will not extend the activity time. You have to log in to issue a new order.

Free Time looks good on me

@Mathex319, @WiseOdin I have noticed something similar in 1975768 FP game. Other than Oregon, West Texas and myself everyone may be inactive based on newspaper accounts. We just started day 4. Perhaps worth monitoring.

According to the diplomacy list many players still active in that game. It takes some times though until someone is flagged as inactive.
