I don't think it's wrong. I think the issue is that the Google Maps view is being viewed from a different angle.

Incorrect Country Shapes
I know the big map is meant to be a little bit fictional but they didn't get the shape of the Moroccan coast line right. See the images below. The islands are in the wrong place(they should be further up, bigger and more islands, I think), the coast line is badly shaped and I think Sidi Ifni(Sidni Ifni in game) is too far north. See the images below. Sidi Ifni is marked on both images with red.

I wouldn't say so. See image of the coast further south, still with the islands. I also got satellite, it is easier to see on that.

Oh yeah, it's true. the Canary Islands look the same as the Google Map image, but the African coast is kinda tilted.

I think the islands should be bigger and further north too.
