I have not been able to access any of the three active games that I am currently playing since the daily update. I can log into the COW website, access the forum and the game list page, but when I attempt to pull up any of my active games, it just spins and spins and give me an "about:blank" page. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?
I finally got back in after about 2 hours of trying every 15 to 20 minutes. Of course, I was convinced that I was being nuked and my previously victorious forces were being destroyed in my absence . . . just your usual COW game anxiety. (Are you really paranoid IF they really are out to get you?)
UPDATE: I have discovered these problems were completely a function of the firewall software on the server of the hotel where I was staying last night. For reasons unknown, the firewall did not like the COW website, nor several British newspaper websites that I visit on a regular basis.
