For some strange reason, the British Malaysians use German gear in the Pacific map.

Yeah, the Philipines are using German gear too. I think most countries either have German or Japanese gear, even though they shouldn't.

If the map is based in 1932, it should have the Allied skin. If the map is based in 1940 or 1941, it will have to be Japanese.

No, it is British Malaya, so natives would be using British/American gear.
