I know you are currently working on game management so I'd like to point that out before it's too late.
For alliance games, there seem to be issue to discard games from your board when you're done.
#1 In the alliance tab --> games in progress, even when the game is done they stay there forever. When you have 1 or 2 finished games it's Okay, when you have 10 games, it gets messy.
#2. In games tab --> my games, can't move alliance games to archive so again they all stay there forever.
As far as I am concerned, this problem occurs only for alliances games. I'm good with team games, non-team games and others.

**UPDATE**
Since I wrote this message, it seems they fix the problem #2. I was able to archive my old alliance games.
Problem #1 remains, they are still all listed in "current game" and no way to trash it all.

There's a tab called "Archived games" where you can store your old games or the finished games.
Mathex, from the games --> my games tab you are right.
From the Alliances --> alliance tab, it's just not possible so they all stack up from the beginning. I have 10 games now marked as "current games" but 9 of them are over since a while and can't do anything with them.
You can't archive them? that's weird...
What is your in game name?
The alliance can't archive not me.
My game name is AlexGua.
Alliance name is Patria Nostra.
