Joining issues

I am currently in 4 games and they are working alright. However, I have tried to join other games as well but I could not get in. Once I clicked join, about 8 new tabs appeared and force me to close all but one. Then the last one would say error. Still, a few hours after, I got an inactivity notice.. Pls help.
