Leave your invincible aircraft on the ground as they will kill yours in the air?? Ha ha

So, I have attacked 30 aircraft which are stationed on land, I lost 3 of mine and destroyed none of them.

So all those aircraft on the ground, not one was destroyed, by my airborne aircraft.

Now I know you will all have a smart answer, I am pleased for you. But I am telling you unconditionally that that is BS.

There are usually two people or more per week that self declare that this is a bug or a mistake and protest about this on the forum. It is quite clear from observing planes that they are still planes while on the ground, except for the brief refueling period when they will not return fire.

So you can see that the attack and defend strength of them is the same on patrol or parked on the ground

If it looks like a plane, then it is a plane and will fight as a plane.

Nowhere does it state that the planes at an airbase are actually on the ground.

Do not confuse this with patrols, which is a mission to fly somewhere to find the enemy/defend your own.

Everyone who is not familiar to game will attack planes on ground and realize that they are not empty :) Even they can be stronger if they are on core province. OK, they can be treated like they are in the air , they can have bonus for fight on core province, but how they can have fortification bonus?

barrage balloons, search lights ?

Of course you could argue that they would be there even without the freindly planes

but these would indeed increase the AA defence of the province.
