Lol! However, whenever you have gained xp, it just bounces to maximum and shrink back, weird thing...Yeah it's really weird, does the same for me. I stated the game ID just in case lol.
The green progress bar doesn't indicate the percent of the way to the next rank you are.
The green progress bar indicates how close you are to getting from 85% to 86%
So what you see is approximately 85.5%
As the green bar goes higher it shows 85.6%, 85.7%, etc When the green bar completes it will reset and you will be working your way through the 86th percentile.

Yes very odd, but not really surprising. This game was made by Germans after all haha.
