This almost happened to us when made our game as well. Not to mention it costed gold without telling us it would, we used CoN map and set the rules to where they should have been free. Kinda sucks.

See below for a conversation on map creation... basically privately organized games are ruined because people struggle over setting all the right map options when creating one. This kind of thing is REALLY not uncommon, I've read many like them. How about Bytro relax a bit on the rules for map creation? These people are PAYING for HC, you know, they're actually customers of you. Organizing a group of people is hard enough, and then getting screwed over some minor detail of map creation and having to wait for a whole month really s*cks.

If it costs gold despite you using free options would be a bug.
I don't think an increase in the game creation limit would be greenlit sadly.
What about giving like a day period to change rules and switch countries up a bit, so that mistakes can be made?
it is not even about increasing the limit, it is about getting a second chance when you f*cked up.freezy wrote:

Like, you made some error and ping your mates that it went wrong... and when you do, the "old" map gets deleted, and you get a chance to do everything right the second time around.

Yes, this!
It could be simple.
The owner of the map can cancel/delete the map within the first 1 hour.
The cost is refunded.
The end.
