how about having a button to move several troops at once?

You can select multiple units by two methods:
If you hold the CTRL key while selecting units you can select multiple units, and then give them all the same order.
or
You can hold the left mouse button and draw a shadowy shape on the map, selecting all the units in the shadow. You can then split any unit types out that you did not intend to include if you need to.

I mean something more like this:
instead of having to go back and forth across the map, you can select multiple units in 1 area and move them to different areas. like instead of having to command the 1st infantry then come back and command the 2nd infantry, you can select those 2 and tell one to head to 1 place and the other to head somewhere else. not have them head toward the same place

Just zoom out and do it like that, less moving back and fourth

what if your country is too far away and you can't do that?

I have a mouse with a scroll wheel. Scrolling up and down zooms the map at the cursor, so it is really quick to zoom out on the map, move the cursor over, and zoom in. Of course when you are moving several days away there is still some scrolling.

I have suggested something similar, in where you can see all your armies, their location ad their units.
P.S You might want to move this to the Suggestions / Criticism area.
