My account was banned for no reason and I haven't been told why
•
I was in multiple games with my friends, planning and having a really good time and then I tried to login not even 10 minutes ago and it didn't work, I tried to reset my password and it tells me that my account has been banned. I'm just wondering why and if there's anyway to get unbanned because I haven't done anything against the rules to my knowledge
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Account name: Mon Amoux
Games in progress: 3
I have logged in twice today before the banning

Are you and any of your friends playing COW using the same wifi system? We see this problem all the time with high school and college students who are using the same school wifi network . . . you would all share the same ISP address and you are treated as multi-account cheaters.
Also check your Call of War email under the "messages" tab on the COW main page. You probably have a warning email, saying that if you don't respond to the email with a solid explanation, that your account(s) will be suspended. One of the game operators or senior administrators can check on your status, and possibly resolve the issue if they can determine you're not actually a multi-account cheater.

I'm at a high school and we play it here a lot but we've been playing for at least 2 months and none of us have received any emails about it except for when we played it at a friends house and we all got one but we've never gotten one for playing at school

Check your COW email, and report back. Hopefully, an administrator will turn up soon.

schools share the same connection, and the COW system thinks that you guys are multi accounts
its not rocket science
This player may have been reactivated in October 27th 2017

Hello Bobbix,

Thank you all of helping me with this, I have replied to the email sent to me (I didn't realize I had to reply, I thought it was just a general warning thing) and now I can only hope for the best

Be patient, and do your best to be polite and business-like with the staff who are investigating. It usually takes a few days for them to get to it and get it sorted. If you're innocent of multi-accounting cheating, they should be able to figure that out. After that, if you and your school friends want to continue playing together, you will either (a) have to play from somewhere other than a shared network, or (b) only play in games where the anti-cheat option is disabled (and your stats do not count toward your totals).
Good luck. I hope they get it sorted soon.

Awesome, sorry if you thought that was odd. I know Australian schools are pretty much opposite of us in the sates. Was just curious, that is all

Nah, it didn't phase me because it was a legitimate question. Yeah, they do seem quite different indeed
