My aircraft won't attack and my rockets don't launch

There are 3 sets of planes and two sets of rockets spread out across three airfields, all in range of a stack of my enemy's units. However, whenever i use the attack command on one of them at the stack, the red arcing line that signifies a bombarding plane/rocket disappears about half a second after i click the enemy stack.
