Neutral provinces reported as mine

I have received update messages that provinces in Mexico colored the same as my nation (gray, China) were being lost, around Day 30. I have no screenshots for this.

So I don't know if the report messages came through to me because the province colors are the same, or if the game is actually tallying those provinces as lost/gained with my legitimate nation and coalition tally.

Likely you gained those provinces due to rebellion and then lost them.

You don’t get any notification of gaining provinces by rebellion, but it is listed in the newspaper at the start of each day
