Newest updates causing problems with multiple browsers

Since the last group of updates were implemented last Friday, the game itself has been laggy, but worse yet, it is now apparently gumming up the browsers themselves, causing loading problems and lags in Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer. This needs to be addressed immediately.

This happend yesterday to me too.

Firefox hanged up after setting a few plane routes. Mouse got moved 1 cm per min so after a few reloads and reboots I succeed cancelling the planes and oh wonder, firefox works again without tilt.

Hope this description helps to find the bug

@Dr. Leprechan This appears to be a fairly serious issue. There are problems loading not only COW game windows, but also any other browser windows/tabs that are open at the same time as a COW. For those of us that are accustomed to having multiple COW games open at the same time, as well as other non-COW websites in other windows or tabs, this is a real pain in the neck. Both Mozilla Firefox and MS Internet Explorer are affected.

Mozilla Firefox error message bar at top of browser page:

"A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?" Followed by two button options: "Stop it" and "Wait".

not answering spript message. stop it / wait

I solve it by that way: I always now have the task manager in a seperate wibdow of my windows explorer. It is possible to change to that window an abbort firefox. So I can kill the program even if firefox hangs up. Changing to the task manager was possible in every case of CoW error

Thanks, Arbales, but the main point is not the work-arounds -- of which there are several -- but to make the Bytro software developers aware of the problem(s), and get them to fix them, so that the COW software interacts properly with the two most popular web browsers in the world

ofcourse
