Nuclear aircraft carriers will not combine in single convoy stack
I have been unable to combine two nuclear aircraft carriers into a single convoy stack, with or without additional naval unit escorts. It has been an ongoing bug that aircraft carriers -- both conventional and nuclear -- have had issues combining into a single stack with other naval unit escorts. This is, however, the first time I have encountered problems combining one aircraft carrier with another in a single stack, with no other naval or air units in the stack.
Game operators, please see game no. 1672510. Until this issue is resolved, I would appreciate any work-around suggestions from other players with experience with this problem.

@Sasri The now combined unit number for the stack is C15; the nuclear aircraft carriers Courageous and Indefatigable. I don't know what their separate unit numbers were. I continued to experiment after posting this report, and I was able to combine the two CVNs in a single stack by sending them, without escorts, on separate courses, to an intersection point of two sea lanes.
If you would like to experiment with the problem, I can un-combine the carriers again. There is also another nuclear carrier being produced in a nearby naval base, and we could duplicate the experiment again with it when it is completed in a few hours.
Please advise.
