Uh, not a bug. No one but the devs knows why they have ship's armour but they have it nonetheless.

Nuclear Subs Have Surface Ships Armor Class
Been hitting the same battleship with three nuclear subs. Through chat conversation it was noted that the nuclear sub has surface ship armor class. Surely this is a bug?? losing my 3rd nuclear sub to the same battleship that is all by itself.

They are very quick. Good for knocking out convoys, DD and CC.

I agree that this may have been in error, and an unintentional 'feature'. But Nuclear submarines really should have a submarine armour class, as it impacts their useability be mis-designating their role.
