Patrolling planes still won't damage stealth units
Had tacs patrolling an anti-tank that was in combat with a stack of mine. The patrolling planes didn't do any damage. I had to directly attack instead.

Got it, thanks. I remember it being discussed and mistakenly thought it was part of a recent bug fix.
Another glitch involving planes was fixed. In it, planes would sometimes decide to randomly circumnavigate the globe, basically disappearing for several hours. This doesn't happen anymore.jubjub bird wrote:

How ridiculous is that. A major issue with air combat and they want to wait until the turn of the year to fix it. Some of us pay for High Command in this game, and all should be expected is to provide a game that works, and to fix glitches that may occur in the process. Idk if this is known but the issue also affects stealth units even when they aren't in their stealth terrain. My planes are currently patrolling an invincible anti-tank in a Hill province.
All is fine when they're in a mixed stack with non-stealth units; they take damage normally then.
only when there's only stealth units left, they stop taking damage.
And I agree that such a bug in core gameplay should be a hotfix, to be fixed asap.
OTOH in my current game, my commandos get spotted by artillery all the time even though they are neither in combat nor does the enemy have anything but the artillery in the area.
I also noticed that sometimes I can see enemy units in provinces far away even though I have no spotting of that area. Especially aircrafts seem to stay visible long after they have left the area of observation. Is this WAD?
Now a cruiser is firing at my sub even though there's no contact yet. This is getting irritating; it is really urgent for a programmer to look at this!
