You have to manually attack these troops.
That's how I get rid of them

Planes not being attacked
I am sure we have all seen this bug at one point, you take over a province with planes stationed there, the enemy planes become a convoy and then just coexist with your troops. I have mostly been on the other side of this issue, but even so I
can't understand why it has not yet been fixed. In this image you can see my planes as a convoy in an enemy city. there was enemy tank who took the city, but he left my just produced plane alone. I then killed him from the air and saved my unit. Ples fix

If you are capturing a city, you will have to capture the city, then initiate the attack on the fighters/air units

I understand you need to order the attack, but that is not how it should be. I have had so many planes survive when they should not have.xXCooksterXx wrote:

It should at least attack on the next tic, 1 hour from capture. Doesn't it?

I don't think so, as far as I know you have to order the attack
