Planes on AC turned into transports errantly

In game 4484489, I had 9 planes on 3 AC. I attempted to MOVE the planes to an airfield within reach. Instead, they turned into transports (probably because they thought they were not in reach). I told them to stop movement and they did, independently of the ACs. So now I have 9 transports in the middle of the ocean that need to EMBARK to go anywhere. The time loss here has probably cost me the game.

Wow, that looks annoying. This isn't really a commonly reported glitch, so you should probably consider writing a support ticket. In the meantime, try to make the aircraft patrol over the airport where you want them to land, and then giving the move command. Hope this helps.
