sadly, when a post gets deleted, the tags on those posts doesn't get automatically deleted

Retired Hero is a special rank for volunteer staff members that are no longer in the team

Hmm, that is going to be tricky. As Nem said, the deleted spam post still has the tag.

Unfortunately the deleted posts aren't accessible to remove the tags. . .

So, apparently we are stuck. I'll make a note to check for tags on future spam posts, but it is several extra steps to remove them.
