Problem with achievement list

I always monitor players during a game to keep track of what they are doing through their achievements.

I have a first time player who has wracked up 54 kills so far....yet his achievements show not a single infantry or armored kill.

It does show that he built 4 carriers...which cannot be found....

I have never seen this before.

54 kills vs who? Achievements don't count kills vs AI

The text says they do, but they don't actually count

I do think achievements are a bit buggy atm, but I couldn't pinpoint it since I rarely check them
