Queue Button not working

The Queue button isn't working FOR UNITS in either of my games - 1553712, 1521341

I have a current HC subscription.

The Building Queue button works fine?

Hi teddtedd,

the queue botton is not broken just overloaded.

Example:

Build/Production Queue sets up priorities for building/production such as, Texas -> Infraestructure goes before Austin -> Barracks. Until Infraestructure from Texas isn't started, Barracks from Austin won't start even if you have enough resources.

If you go to province administration in 1553712 and click Build Queue you'll see that the first ones have a yellow box while others that are supposed to be built later have a green one. Yellow means you don't have enough resources yet and the system is waiting for them. Green means that you can build it.

To solve this, just remove the queue you have and put it in a better order or reorder it using arrows at right.

HAve you changed the way the queue button works?

I used to be able to queue up, say, 3 units in a city even if I didn't have the resources to start the first one.

Then, when the resources came in (overnight) the units would start building as soon as the resources were available.

Now, If i don't have the resources to start the first one, I can't queue the units at all.

The queue still works as long as I have enough resources to Produce the first unit, then I can queue up more afterwards, BUT now, if I don't have enough to produce 1, I can't queue anything

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of being able to queue?

I always through the queue worked like:

When I have the resources start building X

Makes High Command rather less useful.

Gets even more confusing...

City A - Naval Base 2, currently building NB 3 - not enough resources but can queue Aircraft Carrier

City B - Nothing Building - can't queue anything without required Resources

City C - Tank Building - can queue more Tanks

So City A lets me queue something without Res and without prerequisite buildings

City C has all required buildings but wont let me queue anything until I have resources to start 1 unit building.

City C lets me queue as long as something is being built already

NOTE this ONLY applies to Units

I can queue any building I want any time I want anywhere I want ...

I have tried this with a completely empty Build Queue and same results

Why is the 'logic' different for each circumstance A, B and C?

and why is it different for Buildings vs Units?

The queue is not overloaded :)

You explained fine what i meant with overloaded :)

And no, this happens this way at least from March when i got a report about it and had to investigate it :)

They just mixed the queue of all the cities instead on having them 1 by 1 so now priority is a factor to take in count.
