Rally Point Issue

During my most recent game, I had an issue with the rally point feature. The issue was I directed the new unit to a providence close to the boarder with a neighbor. On the displayed path it was going through the neighbor’s territory. However when the first unit was produced, the path must have been corrected and the unit was routed around and remained in my territory. Then I went to bed and the next unit that was produced went into the neighbor’s territory and attacked. I was not happy checking my phone compulsively in the middle of the night to find that I had started a war I had no I intention of starting.

Could this be looked at? I was not given a warning this would trigger a war and doing so put me in a bit of a bind.

When you set the rally point it shows the shortest way. However when the unit is produced, only then it's march will be set and calculate accordingly to your diplomacy with other players.
Thanks, that’s what I expected. Any idea why it would invade a neighboring country? Was this likely operator error or a bug?

The brigade forgot their navigator at the factory.
