Recovery issue

I had a stack of units on friendly-captured territory at day-change, but they did not recover.

The stack had 117.4 points of 140 possible before day-change, and there was no change after day-change.

QUESTION: Is the 15% recovery applied at day-change, or every 24 hours? That is, must the unit(s) be on owned territory (not just an ally) for at least 24 hours?

I may have a follow-up question, but I will await responses and comments first. Thank you.

It must be owned by you. It's at day change, regardless of how long the province has been owned.

Well... Then I have suffered a glitch :(

You said "friendly-captured territory" -- was it your province, or your ally's province?

The sequence was the following... I captured the province one day; at day-change, it revolted. I recaptured it within a few hours, and held it thru the next day-change. My unit-group had 117.4 after I recaptured it to put down the revolt, and, after the next day-change, I still had 117.4 points. I had specifically waited in the center-point to help prevent another revolt, and also to collect some recovery points. I prevented another revolt, but didn't get recovery points.

Strange, you should have recovered some health in that case. It's normal pretty reliable in my experience so idk what could have gone wrong. Keep an eye on it, maybe there's a bug

Thank you.

When you recaptured the province, did it belong to you or to a coalition partner?

It's possible to take land and have it revert back to your coalition partner, if they were the original owner.

Only land belonging specifically to your country provides healing at day change.

It was mine. But I misspoke above... I had forgotten that I wasn't in the center-dot of the province that I had recaptured; I had moved out and was moving through a captured-owned territory... So, I was still in my own territory at day-change.

I'll just accept that it was a glitch.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

If a province attempts a revolt, your units in that province do not heal, because technically, your units are fighting the people in that province, so no rest for them. i think this is correct, last i checked.

Thanks for that input. I looked thru available records (the Newspaper), but couldn't find a reference to quashing a revolt in the province; perhaps it just wasn't recorded.

Thank you just the same.
