Render Engine Problematic

On my iMac on both Safari and Chrome, I cannot load any games, ever since the new renderer became default. Since I cannot open the games, I cannot switch to the old renderer. Furthermore, in both browsers, it freezes my computer and I am forced to restart.

On my Windows 10 laptop, the new renderer runs VERY VERY SLOW.

Unfortunately, it seems like the responses so far from developers or lack thereof seems to indicate you guys are fully committed to this change regardless the impact on your player base. It begs the question why so much has been put into this with no player feedback when the new renderer offers no benefits to your business but is clearly limiting your player base to people with new computers. Why would a business choose to cut of a percentage of its own customer base?

It seems like a terrible business decision.

Could you please list the specifications o your computer so we can investigate? Things such as processor, ram, video card, operating system, browser version?

If I understand correctly, older computers that are not webGL capable should load the old renderer by default. So it appears your computers have webGL enabled. I suggest that you check your video card drivers, and check to see if you have hardware acceleration enabled.

As you keep creating new threads it is difficult to respond to each one. There are several official threads for feedback about webGL that are being monitored by the game designers and community managers.
