I understand that the game need update, i understand that for teh game to runn you need money. That why i have an own rulle... when i am betrayed in tha game, i punish that snake by using any means, also gold... but this crash of servers are not good for me... right now i was punishing hard way not 1 but 4 snakes at once... to fight 4 at once you need some serious gold if you wnat to smash tehm hard... so please check how many gold i spend on this game: 3106629 and retunr to me HALF like bonus... not 5k like you have donne last time... is not my fault your server is donw, but when i give you money to play, i need condition to play... if you can not provide that conditions, i need to be consolate, and i think 50% is fair! THX!

The admins never said that players would be compensated for this particular downtime. Likely because it wasn't the result of a faulty update and they could do nothing about it but wait.

There has been 3 server downtime and we have been compensated 5000 gold. I saying that if this is not resolved, we should be compensated by HC for a week.

You're losing over 100,000 units in just a few hours? How much gold do you use?!
Better question: How much gold does the other guy use in order to defeat 100k units? Are your massive battles what keeps crashing the server?

You do realize this is probably a server overload, right? So many people now have a bunch of free time on their hands, and can log in more times, for longer, and more frequently. The CoW servers likely haven't had this kind of activity in quite some time, and it's leading to massive crashes. The playerbase activity has not changed - just the number of times they log in, and how many resources they consume.

If Bytro upgraded their server or bought another server, the higher traffic would not be as big of a problem. Code-wise, they could try to simplify the game's code, but that could take a lot of time and make the game very buggy for no new features or gameplay improvements.

Not likely. If I understand correctly, two servers can be connected to act as one more powerful server.

If there is only one per language, that is nowhere near enough. The playerbase (from what I understand, feel free to correct.) is predominantly German and English. However, if there is only 1 server per language, that means that those two languages only have a single server to house all of their players. An easy fix would be to just network another server to that language, to share the load. However, that is expensive, and time consuming.
