Server glitching

The server has been glitching for me constantly since it went down. Over the past few days I have wasted so much gold because my enemies have been able to take advantage of the game glitching for me. This morning I couldn't even combine ships or stop my naval bombers patrolling which led to an enemy cruiser fleet coming in and shredding them.I also couldn't queue anything new last night which knocked me back a lot.

I love this game and the 10k gold for the servers being down was a nice gesture but I pay a lot of money to this game so that I can support the game development and keep it working well, so when stuff like this happens it'd be nice to get a bit more in-game compensation considering I'm a paying customer and therefore losing real money due to these problems that are outside of my control.

I was planning on buying more gold tonight so that I can get back on track but that just doesn't seem fair to me, the majority of players play this game for free and don't support the devs at all financially but I as well as many other players do support the game/devs so its unfair to us in times like this and it just makes me feel really unappreciated.

Just to be clear since above makes me sound quite entitled, I am asking if I can get any (or atleast some of) the gold back that I spent whilst the servers have been down/glitching. I don't exploit through gold, I use it as a reserve for my economy when I am under attack and running low to prevent the enemy pushing further; It's how real life war works. I'm not asking for extra anything nor a refund, I just want back the gold I've spent due to the servers glitching which seems fair to me.
