Him gaining a coalition member or you joining a coalition wouldn't change his diplomatic stance toward you automatically, as far as I know. He would have to change it manually, unless you went to war. Maybe you are thinking of something to do with AI countries?
Share Map still active with player of another Coalition
Game #6728782
That's the sequence of events
I was not in a Coalition .
I had a Share Map with France - (Leader of a Coalition)
I then changed my -Share Map- with France to -Peace-
right after Germany joined France's Coalition
France never changed his relationship with me , still Share Map
I joined USA Coalition, and I still have France Sharing Map with me,
so I can see all his units.
There wasn't a release to fix this not long ago?

He's thinking of the change where if you are in a coalition and the other person is in a coalition, you can't share map with them (or give them right of way)
However, if one player is in a coalition and the other is not, you can share map with them. If the non-coalition player joins a different coalition, the game will keep the share map relation unless the player turns it off
Yes , I was believing it was automatically changed for active players too.DxC wrote:

So , is this a possible bug , a fair thing or a trick to use vs inexperienced players?
Maybe it's a bug or is unintended, but while it's an existing game mechanic it seems fair to me. It might be a bit mean to pick on inexperienced players like this but it's how the game works.
In this game, since the player was friendly, I sent a message to inform about the share map.
And he was not aware.
So, I hope in karma
Do good, receive good.
Thanks all for the help.
