Ship/Unit Assigned Names no Longer Visible

Hey devs,

This is an exceptionally minor complaint right now but...one of the silly things I like to do is to give my battleships and carriers exceptionally long and "sophisticated" names, or historical names. I know, it's silly. But I also found it quite interesting to get that one beautifully named ship with 50+ kills and for both me and my allies to keep track of the most successful ships by name. It was also funny to make extremely specific names for units (especially nuclear bombers and rockets) during the inevitable globe-wide endgame wars. Making names specifically with mild insults against my enemy, including the names of the location of recent victories against my enemy or otherwise implying inevitable doom, and then sending them straight for my enemy's capital, definitely gave me and my allies a little laugh here and there.

Obviously this being a fairly minor feature I noticed during the early stages of 1.5 the ship names were no longer visible in the unit info. This was eventually fixed, but in the new 2.0 UI I noticed that ship/unit assigned names once again disappeared.

Please consider making these visible again. For the memeworthy names and those of us who spend way too much effort into ship names? And so I can deploy "F in the Chat for (City Name)" again in a nuclear strike? :)

I think names are only shown in newspaper articles now. But I never knew where in the unit info the name was displayed. Where was it?

They would be displayed in their own bar in the detailed unit info, along all the other info under the unit photo

They'd still be visible in the newspaper sometimes, but sometimes it would get a little too difficult to remember "did I name this ship Regina Margherita di Savoia or Regina Adelaide"? Then you'd make a mistake trying to remember and the next thing you know there are three battleships named "Dona Francisca de Braganca" floating around in the world, and you can't even rename them anymore. Granted, still a minor issue, but then you'll have to spend a while deliberately trying to find where that Japan player hid all of his submarines so you can send two of the three on a suicide mission and hope they get sunk so you fix that naming mistake

Again, not a problem for most people as most people just use the automatically suggested city names for their ships and put no thought into their ship names, but I am not normal. Hopefully, if you are ever my ally in a game, you notice my odd impulse for applying historically significant and complex names to ships, and find it concerning enough to report to the local doctor :)

You know, I genuinely look forward to coinciding in a game with you.
