I'd suggest sending a bug report about it, it'll get fixed.
Splitting your groups
This is going on the last couple of days and it is getting frustrating.
I am trying to break up my large groups into smaller groups and as I get it down to the number per unit that I want, the game defaults back to the actual numbers within that group.
For example: I have a group of 45 units. I am trying to create a group of 10 out of that. As I select the 10 units, al off a sudden those numbers go back to the original count. I have to back out of the game and get back into it for it to work.
Is this a known issue?
I am in 2 games and it seems to be doing it in one of them. Game #1488531
Thanks

Where do I do that?
I thought this was it?
Thank You.
Lower right side, hit the cog, then the spider looking bug. Be as specific as possible, possibly including a .gif of the error using gyazo

I have been unable to replicate any issue/bug with stack splitting.
When a GO responds to your ticket, Please give your browser info and try to take a screen shot of the problem [gyazo can capture a moving gif of a few seconds] as it appears.

Unfortunately, it is not reproducible and the units seem to come back at random. If you open split screen menu on a stack with multiple units and "select only this unit type" for one of the units and just let the menu sit there open, all the units will eventually pop back to full values. It may take 1 second or 1 minute. Actually, I just tried it with all units set to zero and they all popped back within a few seconds. Just leave the menu open for at least a minute and you'll probably see it.
edit: I just reproduced this in firefox, opera and chrome
edit2: I was able to reproduce this using a single unit type
thank you for your reply with further information for me.DxC wrote:

the split menu pop-up box reverts back to all selected, each time there is a refresh [click the refresh button in corner to see]
This tells me that lag will also be causing this.

I switched to Firefox, and that seems to be working on that browser.
I was using Explorer and some stupid one from Windows 10.
Mozilla firefox is a good choice and it is the browser I recommend for Call of War.
I recommend Internet explorer for nothing at all. [from microsoft and comes installed with windows OS]

Yes, hitting refresh button will do it, as it refreshes all the server state info, but the server also sends update chunks regularly on some tic schedule regardless of lag. When this happens the client (javascript running in your browser) resets the values in the split menu. It's simply a matter tweaking the javascript so that the split window isn't reset when the client gets an update.Field Marshal Dan wrote:

This wasn't my ticket, I was just trying to help with it.
Nice, the split reset just caused me to send 88 rockets to 1 militia.
omg. I did it again with 29 rockets. Frustrated with myself and with the devs not not fixing this trivial issue right away.
