Starting Research over

I am currently in a game that is on day 30 and all of my research has been erased. I now have to start from square one. Is there a way for countries to spend gold to do this to people?

We are releasing a script now that checks which units a player has on the map. it then enables all researches of these units up to that level. In most of the cases the users will get their researches back by that. If there is still any issue left after that update, please write a support ticket.
