I gave up worrying about stats a long time ago. My stats are so jacked they are beyond fixing. The stats have no basis what so ever on reality. For example, one of my stats claims I lost 1300 provinces! LOLZ I only played 20 games. That means I lost 65 provinces per game? LMAO. I wonder how I won those games? Maybe, and I mean MAYBE I might have lost a couple provinces on 3 of those games. The rest is ridiculousness, I rarely if ever lose a single province all game even against good players. Pure baloney on the stats. So I just ignore them and play.
Apparently they count as lost even if you never lost them in the first place.

Apparently it's a new bug, right?
"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius. "Alea iacta est" Gaius Julius Caesar.

1300 lost province v 4000 conquered seems quite normal.

LOLZ I didn't conquer 4000 either. But as to the ratio, that depends. Sometimes when an ally turns traitorous, one might lose a few provinces initially, but in a standard campaign with no traitors? That ratio at least for me is off by at least an order of magnitude or greater.
