just finding it odd playing in historical map game, that the buy and sell offers for food and oil are near or at 50 but when I enter a buy or sell offer it will not let me go higher then 30. Precious metals is the only one with a higher option at 60.

Human players are limited to 30 for most, and 60 for rares.
AI does not have those limits, so they can bid higher, although I have never seen them that high :O

In most cases this is caused from slow net-connect or when a map is open long without manual refresh respectively too many maps are open at the same time .. then the game goes
