Submarine causing war

Game 2791423

Submarine with move orders attacks an at peace neighbor while travelling on move orders.

Day 7

Turkey

I ordered a submarine to move toward Nicossia. a Greater Romania ship may have been in the path based on the Newspaper report my submarine apparently attacked it and was sunk. since I was at peace and had only given a move order. I had not purchased High Command, but was apparently given it as a bonus and must have been caused by the default High Command order.

it's not a bug, they changed it in the update "Fire at Will"

Even without hi-command, naval forces, including troop transports. will fight and result in war between the two owning countries.

This is a 'feature' of the recent Naval Blockade update.

Even happens with two AI countries, often resulting in some highly amusing situations.

I do not like this new feature. It brings about war between neutral countries. Fire at will feature should have remained only vs. enemy ... :tumbleweed:

This update was made to make AI less passive. *Info from Dv8nt who talked to actual devs*

Ik it's not that cool'n what not, just gotta accept the fact that this will still exist for the rest of this game. *obviously changes will be made to make it not so oofy* ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

You can make AI less passive by literally making it active, right now, the AI still passive but you just get into war with her because microwaves.
