Tactical Bomber Dealing No Damage

I have had a squadron of 3 tactical bombers attacking a 3 light tanks and the first time the tactical bombers attacked they did damage. Now for some reason in 3 more bombing runs they have dealt no damage. Can someone please tell me what the problem is?

In every battle there is an X-factor that means an attack might do from zero to 100 percent of the listed damage. This is in addition to the effects of terrain, forts, and home defense.

You might search the forum a bit about it. Often discussed.

I don't see how an x factor could make it so every one of my attacks deals no damage.

Another possibility is that your enemy is improving the unit condition back to 100% after your attack.
