It has been 'BUGGY' like this for months, only way to describe it is like the Bermuda Triangle. Once you have a ship between Ulen and Nome. That ship cannot be 'clicked on' accessed, planes are impossible to control, It is like a mug without a handle. Every game is like this, So there is no point in making a bug report. Please just fix it.
It is an extremely bad bug and only happens at that exact location across all the 100 player maps;.

Actually this has been the case for years. It has to do with the rendering of the map “seam” where the joint is. This feature makes it possible to scroll and navigate all the way around the world, but it can leave units trapped in that line that runs north to south.
This seam issue is not present in the enhanced graphics, so switching the enhanced graphics on will resolve your issue.

For catching lost ships double click on other "clickable" ship same type near that trapped units, so you activate lost ships, after holding ctrl and second single click on not needed units you have only lost units active and can give any command.
