Took capital of country but no victory points

I'm confused on if you get the victory point after you take the entire country or is it a bug?

Victory points are only calculated once per day at day change.

Yeah but that's really hard to code though...and it would be much harder for the server and there might be lots of lag.

it’s already lagging a lot so it won’t matter much
