Tremendous Lag on Google Chrome

For about the first minute I can move units with no issues, then all of a sudden I click on units to move them, and the movement line does not appear, the mouse movement is completely laggy.

At times, it will look like the movement path is there to click and send troops, but then you click it and nothing happens.

This just started occurring about 3-5 days ago. It's basically unplayable for me at this point for more than 5 minutes.
