One of my light tanks has launched multiple attacks on a single infantry unit with 27% health multiple times now yet the tank is the only one to take damage. The Infantry says at 27%. This isn't unusual to happen once but 2 or three times in a row?

3 times in a row? Perhaps you should buy a lottery ticket.

In addition to the X factor there is an "overwhelm" factor that kicks in frequently in these one on one battles.
