The submarine fleet could just be carrying a cruiser with it. That would explain everything.

Uh.... is this a bug?
Is this a bug, or can submarines take down a naval bomber?

Or the naval bomber could be on like 0.1 health
Though I have no idea why you would send that to war.

Bruh the stack is named after the unit which does the most damage to any armor class (no matter infantry, light armor, heavy armor etc). So if there are level 5 submarine and level 1 cruiser, it will be Submarine flotilla obviously. Also as pointed above your naval bomber might be at too low a health or attacking continuously for sometime and become weak (possibly it destroyed a cruiser before the submarine killed it)NEPTUNE the great wrote:

Not to mention the fact that subs DO have an AA rating
A lvl 2 sub has an AA rating of 1.5....so put 5 together? ..yah, they can shoot down navy bombers.

Well they do, although I find it to be over the top. I mean, just apply your brain: whether it has 1 IQ or 10000 IQ won't matter, as all people understand that submarines can't shoot airplanes as they are below the water.

I'm possibly mistaken, but I believe at least German WW2 subs had a deck gun capable of sinking unarmed merchant shipping. Unsure how effective it would be against aircraft though.
