Unable to select 'No coalitions' games ?

When I search for a new game, I like to join rounds which have coalitions disabled as I find that a lazy way of creating artificial alliances.

However, recently I've noticed that, despite selecting the 'No coalitions' option when searching for new games, the suggested games by the search result all have coalitions in them.

Why is that ? Are we being forced to play rounds with coalitions now ?
