Unable to update/install on Android

So, I have been playing this game for a few years now, always been able to play on my phone. However, with the update that has changed the icon of the application I am unable to install the update on google play. I also tried uninstalling but it would not let me reinstall. When I tried to do other things through google play, they all worked fine except for call of war. The browser version on the phone itself also seems to work. I am wondering if there is some known issue with call of war on google play at the moment? As I have exhausted every suggested troubleshooting option to no avail.
