Well maybe you shouldn't try to upgrade planes in mid-flight? of course it won't work, it would be instantly canceled because an un-stoppable action is taking place.

Upgrade glitches
Got an issue with upgrades...
TC bombers will not upgrade. I request the upgrades while planes are in flight. The resources and manpower are taken but when the planes land they do not upgrade. But the resources are gone. Allows me to upgrade one plane at a time only

I did this with a single patrolling interceptor and it did not upgrade once it landed. I didn't pay attention to see if it consumed resources, but if this is bugged, like you imply, it probably did.Nostroma wrote:

Do you mean when they are landed or patrolling? I recently upgraded a stack of 13 naval bombers from 1 to 4. I think they were landed.Nostroma wrote:

Many times I've ordered upgrades on planes that were in flight. They returned to base and upgraded.

the same thing happened to me when i want to upgrade carrier based plane.Nostroma wrote:

so i came with solution, if you have plane grouped together and wanted to upgrade certain planes you should kept aircraft to be upgraded on the ground and sent the rest airborne.

Weird, I’ve never been unable to upgrade planes mid flight, and then they come back and don’t. I think perhaps you should move them to another airport and try there? If not then something has to be up…

I have never once in my years of playing, ordered planes to upgrade in mid-air, so the easy solution to this problem is just don't order their upgrade in mid-air.

Yes but this sucks when you’re low on time and have to go, and just want to send your planes back to upgrade. Weirdest of all is that nothing close to this has really even happened to me, so most of the time it’s completely safe to.Fox-Company wrote:
