Dunno, but the issue has been reported and the devs have taken note of it. It'll be fixed soon, I expect.

The past is a foreign country.
When joining a game..
.. I get into the select country screen - and select a country that is not already selected.
When I try to press start game.. the box is greyed out, and nothing can be done.
Any fix for this?

the issue has been reported before and the Devs are aware of this.
