In 1.0 it’s the same. Both units have possibilities if taking the province. No difference in 1,5.

Who gets priority in province claiming?
Attacking an enemy province I reached its core first and attacked the defender. During the attack when the defender was down to 9% and I was at 67% a third party marched into the frame.
Now previously the first attacker who arrives won (provided they outfought the defender) bit in CoW 1.5 that is no longer the case as the 2nd person who arrived has taken it. Why?

u do it by capturing it first. Better to do it in rural zones because only a few seconds then captureBladeFisher wrote:

Can't be true. A long time ago I thought the same but I got the same result as you. I had enemy down to 1 hp but province was captured by a 3rd party interloper that made the kill shot. My troops got the blame for surprise attack on 3rd party.BladeFisher wrote:

As far as I know the province should always be captured by the army which does the last remaining damage. So not really random from the game's perspective.

Well...its pretty much random because anybody could do the last remaining damage, unless you re lucky enough o get online and do the attack order yourself.freezy wrote:
