Zoom in issues

I've had various zoom-in and zoom-out issues at various times, but I've never been able to determine whether it was the COW software, my web browsers (Firefox and Explorer), an overly sensitive computer mouse pad, or some combination of these which was responsible. However, I've never had the game screeen focus become permanently stuck at any level of zoom.
