First PL games had not any support of GM. We were only on our own good will for not violating PL rules number one. No use of gold. Since in first several round we had not GM Support we used Black lists for confirmed rulebreakers. It is also possible to ground PL even without GM Support. Only good will and own activity are obligatory.
Since we it possible to order any map, if we have at least 80% spots acquired. We can do it to any time.
Also I start community Event "back to the roots".
In next post I write rules for it. Don't post here till message "please acquired yourself here" in last part of rules announced.

Rules.
1. Game ToS.
2. No use of gold.
3. No inactivity without explanation by round admin.
4. Admin is neutral.
5. Every participant has to share maps with admin.
6. Violate against rules get blacklist points. Reach some mark mean black list forever.
7. In future should establish judge institution.
8. In future should establish ingame correspondent.
8. a) correspondent ist neutral
8. b) news should not have disadvantages for anyone.
8. c) more precise articles should be posted in forum in conversation or common thread with time delay at least 4 days.
9. In the future could establish gold rewards how in common community events.
10. Season should have at least 3 rounds.
11. Points of each rounds will counted separate.

Performing for round one.
1. PL remastered starts if we have at least 8 participant (admin does not count). Since we can use same tool for map start like RPG Players. By 8 till 11 players we start on 12er map. By 12 till 20 on 22er. 21 till 24 players on historical. 30 till 48 on homefront.
2. Single victory counts. Alliances, NAP`s are allowed, there is not any security by PL for holding. Good will counts. Coalitions are allowed only on historical map. Single victory by max. points reached counted everywhere.
3. If you want participate. Post here. You accept the rules, any changes of rules, if they need to be adjusted, your nickname ingame. That is all.
4. Have fun.

Closest thing we have, and no promise for its future, is the AWC. It is still an active gold free bytro sponsored tournament of alliances, rather than the old PL you were used to playing.
You could always convo Mr Vorlon about it I suppose.
