I posted this in the newspaper today, in our Feb. game, but I want to also share my words with the PL as a whole.

Before this game ends, I just wanted to make one public comment that I

think should be said. We will gauge this game's victors and losers

based on a final point tally, but apart from that, I would like to say

this.

No matter the points, Mark, your play in this game was excellent, your

defense against overwhelming odds keep a large coalition scrambling for a

good time, figuring out a way to punch through it. No matter the

outcome of the points and what they say, I will say I think you were the

best player in this game.

Kudos to everyone else for a fun campaign and I look forward to next

month, hopefully a full board and a chance to give these new rules a

more fair testing.
