Wondering if there is any appetite in the PL for a Frontline Pioneer Supply Drop Game.
Basic concept is players are there to get Supply Drops, not conquer the world.
Being an FP game, we would also be play testing a lot of the new stuff. Feel free to cooperate with neighbors to do a "friendly war" that tests the new unit tweaks, etc.
As a Supply Drop game, the rules would be
- No conquests unless related to a Supply Drop
- All Core provinces must be surrendered to core player once the supply drop is taken. ("Surrender" is vacated and left undefended if not actually traded back for the nominal $1.)
- Players are encouraged to return non-resource provinces back to the AI running the non-player country. (Need a place for more supply drops!)
- Gold should be pointless in a game like this but if it floats your boat, go ahead. Sometimes a little gold might be needed to get to that supply drop.
If there is interest, reply here with forum and IGN. I will see about getting one setup in a week.

Sure sounds like fun. Careful which map you pick. I started on a 25 the other day and no one received units or industrial complexes, though we had lots of research complete. Not sure if it is a bug or a change to the 25, as if that map isn't hard enough.
Actually for more fun, how about elite AI?

Elite AI sounds good to me.
I have not spent any money with Bytro for awhile and they should get an 'atta boy' for this last round of balancing improvements.
We might want to allow players a little more leeway to engage a hostile AI if we push it to Elite.

I entered one FP game with elite, and for what ever reason it did not charge my account. It is possible because we are bug hunting that the charge does not occur.

I actually really like current PL structure and rules.
It doesn't make much sense to reinvent the wheel and do something that drastically different. Chasing supply drops??? Come on... Where is the fun in that?

this tread was mis-placed, should be on the FP thread, where ever that is?
don't think the intent was to change the PL games, just to add another event.

Not intended to replace / change the existing PL rules.
I am suggesting a supply drop chasing game with PL/FP players. We are an active group and have a good idea of how things work. A friendly game of supply drop chasing in the FP bug hunting environment seemed like a good idea.

definitely count me out of that one ... I see no fun in chasing some drops around the map.

Which is why this is an inquiry of interest. If a friendly game chasing blueprints is not your style, it is best for all if you pass on this opportunity.

Game 1982413
It is up and running, three days in. About 20 spots open on the 50 player US map. Choose your nation and supply drops.
